Last week I started a new part time job, what it meant to me was that I’d get a break from being mummy 24/7 and I’d also be able to give Violet more. I would give her the world if I could. Sadly it didn’t work out and I’ve already resigned.
My sister was babysitting Violet for me whilst I worked but sadly this arrangement broke down. I guess it was for the best I suppose, my heart knew I wanted to be at home.
Going back to working life was a huge mistake. I don’t regret resigning either. Being a mum is honestly the most important job ever, they grow up so fast and you’ll never get the years back.
I love my job. I love being a mum no matter how hard it gets.
